What a real return estimate means
The Fisher equation compares a net nominal rate with inflation. A positive estimate means purchasing power increased under the inputs you selected; it is not a forecast, a guaranteed return, or an official GAT Real calculation.
The default reference is 3.42% observed Mexico inflation. It is a reference input, not a forecast; review current INEGI releases and update the field when appropriate.
After-tax real rate = (1 + net nominal rate) / (1 + inflation rate) − 1.
